Ramayana Period
Seetha Eliya (Ashok Vatika) is the place where Mata Seetha
(wife of Lord Rama) was kept captive by Ravana, the king of Lanka. Lord Hanuman
landed at the hill of Seetha Eliya to meet Seetha and His footprints are still
visible here. Some footprints are huge and some are very small.
